COST SAVINGS AND CONTINUOUSÂ IMPROVEMENT
Upon the first delivery of a large multi-release contract we were informed by the receiving inspectors that the revision we were supplying was correct per the contract but would not work due to a subsequent print revision. We immediately called a meeting of the government designers and our project engineers and suggested a way to modify the parts to meet the new requirement saving the government over $400,000. We continued to innovate the manufacture of this product and have continued to reduce the cost of this item by an additional 33%.
